Russian folklore

In Russian folklore the term overlap apply not only to describe the parallelism in the conventional sense, but more narrow. This term refers to feature poetic song, was to compare one activity (the principal) with other (minor) observations in the outside world, a man.

The simplest type of parallelism in Russian folklore - binomial:

         Hawk flew across the sky,

         Fellow walked around the world.

It is anticipated that the parallelism of the binomial evolved more complex types. Polynomial parallelism is a few consecutive parallels. Negative parallelism - one in which the parallels drawn from the outside world, opposed to human action, as it denies it:

         Not white berezynka land salute

         Red girl father bows.

In the formal duplication is absent (or lost) logical comparison of the external world and human action:

Omit a ring in the river,

         A perchatochku under ice

         We enrolled in the commune,

         Let the people judge.
